Shanil Kaderali recently became the senior director, global talent acquisition for Knowledge Universe – a global education firm with more than 35,000 employees worldwide. Prior for the last five years, he worked at WellPoint as the senior manager, talent programs at WellPoint, responsible for TA strategy, talent sourcing, diversity recruitment and RPO. He was at Hyrian RPO as a director, recruitment, working on large volume accounts such as UnitedHealth Group, Kaiser, & Ameriprise. He had senior TA management roles as global sourcing manager at Cisco Systems and was a corporate trainer at AIRS. He has worked on developing and implementing RPO, sourcing, and high-volume recruitment models both as an internal staffing leader and at an RPO firm. He has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate recruitment. He started his career in educational technology in Canada as an entrepreneur prior to falling into HR.

He attended Queen’s University in Canada and did the general management program at UCLA. He and his wife live in Los Angeles as well as Portland, Oregon. They love to travel and participate in various educational charities.
