Heather Flynn has more than 12 years of talent acquisition experience. She currently is a talent acquisition manager at Nike, where she is responsible for managing a team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators hiring for all corporate roles. She is also developing and leading the social media talent acquisition strategy.

Prior to Nike she lead the talent acquisition team for the U.S. at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, a global public relations agency where she spent six years. Her role included overall responsibilities for U.S. talent acquisition strategy and initiatives. Those initiatives included digital talent attraction, university outreach, diversity outreach, and the employee referral program. Other staffing & recruiting roles include: Talent Manager at Hollywood Entertainment; Staffing Manager for Nautilus Inc.; and Sr. Recruiter for Intel and InFocus. Like a lot of recruiters, she started her career in B2B Sales after graduating from college.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Willamette University. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and daughter, where she enjoys the active Pacific NW lifestyle. She has a passion for traveling the world and is also an avid collector of the latest and greatest shoes.
