Mat Apodaca is the Recruitment Lead for Lockton Companies, LLC. In this role he leads the recruitment charge to find the best candidates to continue Lockton’s amazing growth. He oversees a small centralized recruiting team while partnering with office COOs and HR contacts to identify top talent. He began his career as an operations manager with Kinko’s, culminating with the oversight of a top 10 Kinko’s store plus two other locations to include $6.5M yearly revenue and 65 employees. He was accountable for all sales, profitability, customer service, and HR functions in this role. After moving to recruiting five years ago, Mat began as a accounting and finance executive recruiter for Parker & Lynch, responsible for building a full desk to include a portfolio of regional CPA firms and companies up to 5,000 employees. He then worked as a business development director for Triple-I Corporation, an IT consulting and staff augmentation company, before moving to the corporate world in July 2006.
